Q. What Exactly is "Engaged Learning Course"and how does it affect our transcript? Positive and/or negatively.
It is a good thing. It is encouraging active learning and skills. The website on the syllabus goes over it in detail. Most art studio classes would qualify because the nature of a project based curriculum.
Q. How in depth do we go with the community partnership?
We will have to see. But it will be fun. I think it will depend on you and your interests.
Q. Given that the attendance policy states that if you drop, does this apply in a small class (paraphrased here).
No, probably not, but its just a small class. There was 1 person absent.
Q. How many projects will we do?
Probably about 5.
Q. Do we have to have the required text? Are we going to be actively using them?
You can buy what you can afford. I am going to post as much on line as possible. I will assign readings, and you will gain more if you can read. I can get a copy to the library reference if that would help. Let me know.

8:30 meet time for the rest of the semester.
Monday next week is MLK.
Wednesday meet in the class or at the ispace, in the science library @ 9. We will walk together from the classroom at 8:30, but if you live / park closer to the library meet us there. Please don't miss the class! We will be meeting our collaboration partner from the ispace.
